Michelle is a multi-faceted designer whose expertise spans across all phases of design, on a multitude of different projects. With her entrepreneurial spirit and deep passion for design, she co-founded The Vanguard Theory in 2010. Since then, she has grown the company to be an award-winning design firm with featured projects in numerous national publications. Her background prior to design Includes restaurant, retail, and manufacturer's agent which provides her with the ability to design and manage projects from various perspectives.

In addition to design, Michelle has managed design and procurement on various projects, ranging from high-end residential homes to boutique hotels. She curates artwork, manages branding direction, and procures large FF&E installations. A fun fact is that Michelle was a co-host for HGTV's show “Aloha Builds” where she renovated 14 houses in Hawaii with her brothers.
